Lunar One is a visionary, self-sustaining modular colony designed to establish a permanent human presence on the Moon. Addressing critical environmental and social challenges, its fractal-based architecture enables both vertical and horizontal expansion using in-situ 3D-printed modules. The colony features two modular unit types—Living and Corridor—arranged in compounds housing up to 12 inhabitants each, with scalable replication for population growth. Constructed by robotic teams supervised by astronauts, the design integrates layered safety measures and communal urban spaces.

Recognized for its groundbreaking sustainability, Lunar One was selected by NASA AMES Research Center in Houston and showcased among the best Mars and Moon habitat designs, highlighting its innovative approach to off-world living and resource efficiency. This project redefines extraterrestrial habitation through modularity, in-situ fabrication, and human-centric planning.
