SZTOS proposes a lightweight, reconfigurable structural framework for extraterrestrial infrastructure. Based on a multi-resolution hexagonal grid, the system uses a single modular element connected by repetitive joints, enabling compact transport and robotic in-situ assembly. The morphable framework can support telescopes, reflectors, greenhouses, or protective hangars, and is enclosed with a durable membrane for environmental shielding. Designed for adaptability and reuse, SZTOS offers a structurally efficient solution for large-scale space construction with minimal payload mass.
