Overview
RegoLight advances additive manufacturing using concentrated solar energy to sinter lunar regolith without consumables. Currently at TRL 3, the project develops a movable printing head capable of directing concentrated sunlight while layering regolith incrementally. Mechanical testing and finite element modeling inform architectural applications such as landing pads, shelters, and gravity-adapted structures. By harnessing the Sun as the sole energy source, RegoLight proposes a sustainable pathway for autonomous lunar construction.
